ABOUT BOB BROOKS
Bob Brooks is a 17-year veteran of the financial services business and is President of Prudent Money Financial Services. He specializes in investing and managing money for individuals. Bob started his practice in June 1992. He is a Registered Investment Advisor and also a Registered Representative of Purshe Kaplan Sterling Investments, Inc., member NASD.
Bob looks at investing much differently than most. Unlike most financial advisors, Bob looks at risk and manages clients’ investments accordingly. His main focus is to help clients define and pursue their financial goals through his prudent money investment strategy.
Since 2002, Bob has hosted the daily financial talk show, The Prudent Money Show. He has counseled 1000's of listeners through his radio show and personally answered over 15,000 listener e-mails. His objective is teaching people, from a Christian perspective, what they need to know to solve financial problems. By presenting the other side of the story, Bob helps listeners and readers become better stewards of their finances. He accomplishes this objective through his writing, radio show, and public speaking. He stays true to his Prudent Money mission – No Hype. No Agenda. In 2006, Bob was featured in a year long nationally aired television campaign for Truecredit, speaking on behalf of their credit monitoring service.
Bob has taken everything that he knows about debt, the business of debt, and the problems that people are facing and authored the definitive guide, Deceptive Money, to solve America’s greatest problem.
Bob lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife Cheri and two sons, Blaine and Grayson. He is a 1990 graduate of Baylor University with a BBA in Financial Services and Management. Bob and his family attend Park Cities Baptist Church were he serves as a deacon and chairman of the stewardship committee.
